This class is designed to introduce the fundamentals of music theory to the non-musician vocalist. This is a focused, in - depth and singer “friendly” Music Theory Program that will elevate your over-all musicianship and lend to a more thorough music understanding.
“You’ll gain a deeper and more clear understanding of music weather you are singing, writing or performing. Become aware of the roll your voice plays as an instrument within the “map” of the music. Why just stare at the notes on the staff or hear the chord changes going by. You can interpret those notes and enhance those chords with your instrument. No matter what your focus is -singer/songwriter, performing vocalist, musical theater performer you’re musicality plays a large roll in your success as a singer and will make you much more valuable as an artist.” - Claudia Johnson, Director of Vocal Studies
